Nora Jane's Walking

Daniel and I took a trip to Lake Powell, and left the kids with Grandma and Grandpa Pace. We had a great time! While we were gone, Nora Jane officially started walking. She had taken a few steps here and there on her own, but now she walks everywhere! Here's some videos of her.

Memorial Day Weekend

This weekend we went to St. George to stay at Daniel's Grandpa's house with his family. We went down a day before his family and took the boat out on Sand Hallow with just our little family.

Nora Jane is enjoying to boat much more than last year, thank heavens!

It was so hot, we had to have a wet towel to cool off the seats!

I don't think I've ever seen my husband smile this big in a picture before!

I sent Nora Jane in the water to cool off!
This is the next day with Daniel's family. Much cooler. Here's our new tube with Daniel's sisters and brother-in-law testing it out. They had a nice, long, slow ride cause Annalisa's pregnant.
He's totally got this figured out!
Nora Jane kept tapping Tucker on the head, and getting right in his face to yell who know's what at him. I think they were really enjoying it. She also kept waving at her aunts and uncle on the tube.
She likes to drive too! I think she'll more than likely have more driving time than me.
Nora Jane's first tube ride, with Dada and Grandpa! She just about fell asleep.
Stuart forgot Sunday clothes, so we had him try some of Grandpa's! :)

St. George Temple and Visitors Center.
We went to the Dinosaur Museum. Tucker really liked it. He got to stand next to T-Rex's foot print, for a picture.
Here he is digging for Dinosaur eggs.

My Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

Edward Cullen was in my daughters room today, while she was napping. Look at those fang marks in her lip...and yes that's blood on her shirt, hands, and it was all over her legs and crib.
This was just to top of my awesome day that I've had. I was woken up by my husband at about 4:00 this morning, because he had a migraine. By 6:30, none of the drugs had touched it, so we were off to the Emergency Room.
I eventually had to leave him at the hospital at 8:45, to run home and grab my children, for their follow up ear infection appointments at the same hospital at 9:30. Turns out, yes they do in fact both still have ear infections, even though I had taken Nora Jane in two Saturdays ago, after being up with her until 4:00am, and they assured me she was fine.
I really really wish I had not woken up this morning...mostly cause I really could use the sleep to get over my sickness....but with everyone else's illness...mine will have to wait for another day. Mother's Day is coming up soon....right???

My Little Soccer Player!

So I volunteered to be Tucker's soccer "coach", to insure that they would "accept" him, since he was only going to be 3 for the last game of the season. After the first 3 games, one which I missed cause I had to take Nora Jane to the doctor at the last minute, I was seriously wondering what I had gotten myself in to. It was heartbreaking to see my little Tucker man, get so upset when the other kids took "his" ball from him. He has talked about playing on his soccer team for over a year now. He really is pretty good at dribbling the ball and stuff. But the first few games were pretty rough. He just ended up laying on the ground behind the goal, or just being plain sick. Poor kid!
But after last Monday nights game...I'm proud to post about this on my blog. Right at the beginning of the game, he got tripped and fell, smacking his face on the ground. Then the kid behind him, stepped right on his bum, with his soccer cleats. He ran of the field crying. I thought for sure he was done. He came out later, only cause he wanted me to hold him....while running on the field with other kids "coaching". Eventually he calmed down, and came back out to actually play....and the kid made us sooooo proud. He stole the ball, dribbled it all the way down the field on the sideline, then turned and drove it right into the goal!!!

We are just so proud of our little Tucker Man!!!

Easter Egg Hunt at Pace's

Tucker seems to have this whole Easter Egg Hunt thing down this year.

This was not an egg...and apparently slightly disappointing.

Love the running shots!

Easter!

Here are the kids checking out their Easter baskets that the Easter Bunny brought during their naps after Church on Sunday. They got mini "pillow pets", Tucker's is a frog, and Nora Jane's a giraffe. We discovered Nora Jane LOVES peeps...and Tucker not so much.

Nora Jane's 1st Birthday!

We decided to do a Hawaiian Luau for Nora Jane's 1st Birthday, because, well I bought her a cute Hawaiian dress when we were in Hawaii before Christmas. :)

These were the invitations!
This is her cute dress!

This is Tucker's hawaiian shirt....from Target.

The girls all dressed "hawaiian" .

We woke her up after we ate, for her to open presents and eat cake!

The Cake!

I ordered this cute "cupcake pull-aparts" cake from Target.
