More missionaries to the MTC

Mark and Anne Marie were set apart as mission presidents by Elder Scott.  They were able to drive down to the MTC and pick up Amy and Stuart to be there with us.

Daniel's parents were called to be mission presidents over the Barcelona Spain Mission. Since their house was all packed up and cleaned up ready for them to be away from it for 3 years, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to host the Langeland and Pace families after Mark and Anne Marie's farewell.  Grandmother Pace made a lot of the food, and others from both sides helped with fruit, salads and desserts.

Nora Jane's Pink Room

From the moment I found out I was expecting a girl...I've wanted her room to be pink.  But when I had Nora Jane, we had just moved back into our house after the fire...and I knew we wouldn't live there long, so for resale purposes...I didn't have it painted.

This was her room when we first moved into our new house, when she was two.

And now....

...Its pink!!!

House remodel

This spring we remodeled our house.  I don't have great before and after pictures, but it is what it is.  There used to be aluminum siding on the top half, which we took off and replaced with hardy board siding. And then we painted the whole exterior of the house.

Stu goes to the MTC!!

Daniel's brother Stuart was called to serve a mission in the Ukraine Kiev mission.  He left for the MTC Wednesday June 6 (6 days after graduating from high school!)  Here we are having lunch at 5 Guys before he takes off.

Nora Jane's Dance Recital...and a New Puppy

Nora Jane had her first dance recital on Saturday June 2.  She did such a great job!! I was so proud of her.  She told me after that she wasn't nervous at all!

Right after her recital, we ran up to Daniel's cousin, Kate's reception.  She was a beautiful Bride!! 

They had a photo booth at their reception, and we were there a little on the early side, so the kids decided to go try it out, since no one was in it. :)

After the reception...we had to rush home, because Tucker and Daniel had driven to Kanosh, UT that day, to pick up our new puppy, Sage.  They got home just in time to change and come the Nora Jane's recital, so we hadn't had a chance to even play with him yet.

Ginger was diagnosed with hip dysplasia, and Daniel always wanted to get another puppy while Ginger was still around to help train him...so he immediately began researching and found the perfect white male Lab.

Nora Jane...who is terrified of Ginger...is so far loving the puppy...and even starting to tolerate Ginger.

This picture was taken after having Sage for 5 days...and the two are finally okay with each other.  It wasn't ever bad...i just think Ginger was annoyed at first. Now they seem to be old pals.
